To be able to synchronize your data both way (from and to the native apps), Gwapit needs a read and write access. There are no changes made to your data outside the scope of your usage of Gwapit.

Data & Privacy
By default, the data is kept for the processing only and deleted as soon as it’s dealt with. However, you can choose to save it, allowing you to access additional features such as searching the archive of notifications. You can define the time period for which Gwapit has access to the native application data.
During the time required for processing, your data is safely stored on Gwapit’s servers. We are very serious about security, in fact we apply the same norms as Google or Amazon (TLS - Transport Layer Security and HTTPS encryptions).
We believe in the necessity of privacy and will never data mine our users or sell their data. The beta is currently free. We’ve raised enough money; we don’t need to resell our user data. When Gwapit is released, we will distribute the product under a subscription model.
You can learn more about our Privacy Policy on the dedicated page.
Applications
The more the merrier! There are no limits to the amount of apps you can add to Gwapit. You can also add multiple instances of the same app (we’re looking at you Gmail and Slack!)
Gwapit currently connects with Gmail, Slack, Trello, JIRA and Confluence. We are constantly adding more!
Gwapit synchronizes both way with the native applications it’s connected to. You can act directly from Gwapit or from the native app if needed. The notification you processed on one medium will also be processed on the other automatically.
Beta
We currently have no fixed release date set for Gwapit. The beta will last as long as necessary to have a compelling product.
Gwapit is already working and delivering value; it lets you save time by prioritizing your notifications. Besides, users that sticks with us from the beta onward will enjoy benefits including months of free usage. We have a community rewards program in place: users who report bugs, participate in usability tests and spread the word about Gwapit gets generously rewarded.
Gwapit is in beta, but your data is not at risk. You might encounter a bug or a feature that doesn’t work as intended but Gwapit does not delete or alter the data from the services you use.
Others
Yes, Gwapit will stay free as long as it’s in beta. Users that stick with us from the beta and onwards (you maybe?) will benefit from reductions and potentially free months of usage on paid plans if they share their feedbacks spread the word about Gwapit. The firsts to get onboard get the best seats!
If you’re an SME or a company and want to use it within your organization, shoot us a message and we’ll arrange a meeting to assess your needs. We can integrate your legacy & business apps if needed.
Nope, Gwapit runs straight from your browser. Therefore, you can use Gwapit on any computer: Windows, Mac and Linux alike. Gwapit is easy on your computer’s resources. Since the services you add are tied to your Gwapit account you can easily switch between different devices.
First things first: We will never sell user data. Gwapit is currently in beta and raised enough money to sustain its development. Once the app is released, we will maintain a free version for personal use and offer an advanced service for corporate customers under a subscription model.
